Christmas in Singapore 2022

It’s December!

Yes, it’s the last month of 2022 and the first year we’re headed back to full-scale event after the pandemic. No more mandatory face mask and crowd size limit as Singapore moves forward in easing restrictions. And with that, December seems to bring back fun holidays, feasts, reunions and more, more happenings. And in Singapore, holiday decorations, huge Christmas trees, bright and colourful lights are put in place at main shopping district and popular public places. One of the popular festive places is at Orchard road – the whole stretch are heavily decked with all things sparkly and bright.

In nod to the year-end season, let’s celebrate with this photos I took to brighten us up to the years ahead.

Orchard Road
Main arch located at the junction of Orchard Road and Scott’s Road. This is the annual Christmas on a Great Street along Orchard Road, where lights displays, immersive attraction, pop-ups shops, and mini concerts and more fun events happens.
The famous ION Orchard transforms into an attractive Christmas Wonderland in the hues of blue and gold.
The Dior Enchanted Star spans 15m high and is surrounded by over 20,000 lightbulbs. The Christmas star is featured at ION Orchard’s level one entrance.
Christmas at the Flower Dome
This is described as the horticulture-artistry Christmas tree displayed at the Center of the Flower Dome at the Gardens by the Bay. The red and white stripes are created with poinsettias.

Standing at 8 meters and 6 meters in diameter, this red and white stripes poinsettias Christmas tree is a floral display at Gardens by the Bay.
Christmas Odyssea at Jewel Changi Airport. In line with the opening of Spielberg’s blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water, the Jewel has transformed into in underwater wonderland this holiday season.
Ngee Ann City

Fly to the Stars Christmas Tree
Fly to the Stars, a Christmas tree collaboration between Raffles City and French brand Guerlain. The 15-meter-tall tree is custom-made and topped with the brands iconic bee logo.
Fly to the Stars Christmas tree is decked with over 300 decorations of bees, stars and honeycombs.
