Paris….is always a good idea.

VIEW FROM THE MONTPARNASSE TOWER

If you don’t like to take a long queue at the ticket counter and climb stairs to the Eifel Tower, this is a great alternative to see the Eiffel Tower. The Montparnasse Observation Deck offers a unique, panoramic view of Paris. It has a 360-degree view of the capital and it’s open until night time for a greater city of lights experience. Situated on the 56 the floor, it has an indoor viewing lounge with a café and souvenir shop and climbing a few steps is an outdoor view of the Paris skyline.

The tower is near the metro station and you can easily book online.

THE PEOPLE

The Square of the Artist

The Place du Tertre puts you right in the heart of the artists of Paris. The street artist is doing live portraits, caricature and also selling their arts. A little touristy, yes, but at the same time, it had a nice ambiance. Restaurants and hip cafes are scattered around the square, but it’s quite expensive. Instead, the delicious street vendor crepes is a delicious find. Haha!
